Location

Glenelg Badminton Club social play and junior training sessions are held at the WA Satterley Hall, 42 Rutland Avenue Lockleys. There are 7 courts available.

Social badminton and club night Mondays from 7.30pm – 10.30pm. Members $11 ($10 concession), non-members $14 ($13 concession). No bookings required.

Sunday Social Badminton Sundays from 12 noon – 2pm $10 for members, $12 for non-members, 7 courts. No bookings required.

Friday night social sessions from 8pm – 10pm $10 for members, $12 for non-members, 3 courts. No bookings required.

During breaks in games you can relax in the social centre.

Junior Training

Training is held on Sunday mornings for junior players up to 19 years of age. Classes are from 9am-10.30am (advanced and intermediate groups), 10.30am-12 noon (beginners and intermediate). Cost $10.00 (first session is free). Training includes skill and game coaching and is taught by dedicated coaches. The training schedule is on the News page.

Glenelg Badminton Club is a Sports Voucher Provider. To check your eligibility, see the SA Government Sports Vouchers site. Each $100 sports voucher will cover 10 training sessions. They must be used within 6 months. To apply, please fill out the Sports Voucher form and give it to the Junior Training organiser.

Para Badminton

We have a small but enthusiastic group of para badminton players, who train locally and compete interstate and overseas. Training is arranged and run by Badminton SA in conjunction with Badminton Australia.
